Hello, my name is Andrea. I am the owner of Northern Art Photography. As a Petoskey native, I have lived in the Northern Michigan area my entire life. I love the area, the people, and the lifestyle that goes with it. It has been referred to as "Up-North Casual." Northern Michigan is an oasis of tranquility in the midst of a fast-paced world.

In this fast-paced world, people get engaged, married, and have children. It is my job to help you remember the feelings and emotions that go with each of those milestones. I see you as an excited fiancé/fiancée, eagerly counting down the days to that one special day. I see you as a bride donning the mantle of marriage as you walk down the aisle of forever. I see you as a groom watching your life come toward you as a vision in white. I see the pride and awe as a new husband looks down at the foreign weight of gold on his left hand. I see a beautiful wife a few years down the road just weeks away from bringing a new life into the world. I see a new father cradling his newborn child in tender, shaking hands. I see a family growing, building, and adding as they continue into the future. It is my job to see these things and capture them for you to treasure forever.

Our style is a graceful synthesis of classic, timeless portraiture, beautifully creative techniques, and contemporary processes. Our image capture is completely digital and we use software such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. Regardless of the amount and type of software available, our aim is to create dynamic, striking, and beautiful images directly through the lens. We don't take pictures, we give memories.
